Garden-Help: Barbecue cleaning
|
Do you know the problem? To get the barbecue grill clean again after a nice barbecue evening is hard work.
If you don´t do it, the burnt layer becomes thicker and thicker. It seems hopeless to get the grill clean again.
You need strong detergents and a lot of muscle work.
However, this is not necessary, all you need for a clean grill is the ash from the grill.
How to clean your barbecue grill
Attention: Before you start with cleaning, the grill must have cooled off completely!
You need about two cups of the cold ash from the grill. Sieve the ash to take away the somewhat larger coal remains. The sieved fine ash is what you need for cleaning.
Take a moist cloth or a moist sponge. Dip the cloth into the ash and wipe the grill with it.
You don´t need to economize with the ash. It can be a thick ash mixture, with which you clean the grill or similarly burnt appliances.
It’s best to clean the grill in the garden. Then, you can simply hose down the grill with a garden hose - ready.
The washed off ash is environmentally compatible and also fertilizes your garden.
Ash of charcoal is also excellent to clean burnt pots and pans.
