Basic rules: colors in Vastu

Colors are part of solar energy. The sunlight seems to white - but in reality it consists of the seven rainbow colors.

General rules

  • Colors may change the size and shape of any room.
  • Light colors seem to make a small room bigger.
  • Colors in vastu are an effecitve means to harmonize the environment - even on the physical level.
  • Warm, light Sattva colors improve the harmony in the house.

 white color for the ceiling, white ceilings reflect the light. And white is an 'empty' color (in India: color of death), that's why Vastu recommends not paint the whole room in white.  Guna: Sattva

kitchen - on the walls and the floor
