Applications of Pendulums in the War

Seek Out Tunnels and Mines

Applications of pendulums

During the Viet Nam War the defense secretary asked for assistance in a difficult military problem. The intention was to find underground tunnels, mines, and ammunition depots.

IPendulum and rod dowsing was recommended. Thus, the navy made itself familiar with pendulum and rod. Then they selected an area in southeast Asia. They examined it carefully with pendulum and rod. They found tunnels, false wells, underground cables and pits.

Later pendulums and rods became indispensable aids for the military.

Dowsing for Submarines

map of the world

In 1959 Verne Cameron wrote the Navy that he could locate the entire submarine fleet with the help of a map and a pendulum. Verne Cameron was a professional dowser from California.

The Vice Admiral answered that he would very much appreciate a demonstration of his abilities. Shortly after that Verne Cameron demonstrated map divination to the navy. Within a few minutes he located each submarine around the earth.

Despite his success Verne Cameron did not hear from the navy for many years.

Only when he applied for a visa for South Africa, he indirectly heard of the Navy again. The visa was rejected. Cameron asked for the reason. After his demonstration with the pendulum the Navy had contacted the C.I.A. They classified Verne Cameron as safety risk. A journey abroad was not permitted. He might reveal secret military information.
